Difficult to scale. Inhospitable, yet inhabited at the camera. Scales of thousands of metres, four here, eight there.

The source of rivers, and valleys. The planetary crust pushed up. Above the treeline, no plants. Very few humans. Snow on rock. Bright, unpolluted skylight.

Very extraterrestrial. Rare, yet natural. A lifeform, a yeti may live a few mountains south west.
