Stellar Phoenix CD DVD Data Recovery 4.1 Publisher's description
Stellar Phoenix CD DVD Data Recovery is quick and efficient utility to recover data from physically damaged or incorrectly burnt optical media such as CD, DVD, BD, and HD DVD. This tool recovers data from optical media burnt on Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Mac based machines very efficiently. Moreover, this software performs recovery from multi-session disc, LightScribe disc, Bootable disc, and mixed mode disk. The tool even recovers lost data from CD or DVD written with various third-party Packet Writing software, such as ''InCD'', ''Drag to Disk'', ''DLS'', and ''Direct CD''. Though this software performs quick scan and finds almost all data from media, but you can select only one optical media at a time for recovery. Some additional features of this software are ''Create Media Image'', ''Resume Recovery'', ''Surface Scan'', and ''Mask''. Through create image feature of the software, you can create the image file of your optical media. However, you should remember that the location where image file is to be saved should have sufficient space for storing the image file. In addition, you can save the scan result of a complete or incomplete process as an image file as well. In this way, through ''Resume Recovery'' option of the software, you can restart the recovery process either through ''Saved Scan Information'' or through previously crated ''Image File''. Whereas, the ''Surface Scan'' option of the software facilitates you to recover data from severely damaged optical disc using the signature based recovery. Through this option you will find everything that is found in the selected optical media. Moreover, while performing surface scan on raw recovery mode, you can add your desired file type, if it is not found on the list. The ''Mask'' option of the software lets you narrow down the scan result. With all these features, this tool enables you to search specific file from the scan result. To analyze this tool you can download its free trial version. The demo provides the preview of lost data.
