You can choose from a huge number of RSS feeds that are available for free, including top news sources such as New York Times, Yahoo and many others. Screen Ticker supports all RSS formats (including RSS 1.x, RSS 2.x, RDF, Atom and even Poscasts). You can add any RSS feed you want. Screen Ticker already comes with a small choice of selected RSS feeds for you. Screen Ticker can display multiple news feeds on different ticker bars at different size and speed. Also the look and feel of the ticker bars (font, size, color) is fully customizable. The ticker bars can either be placed at the top or at the bottom of your Windows desktop. The ticker bars can either be displayed on demand (e.g. if a news items are available in a subscribed feed) or can be permanently visible. Because a certain area of the desktop is reserved by the ticker bar, it cannot be hidden or overlapped by other windows.
