IB2000 is designed to provide fast, simple and powerful management and viewing for your image collections. You can Browse your images using the familiar concept of Windows Explorer (TM) to provide an interface that everyone is at home with, including drag-and-drop functionality for moving and copying images. The interface can be customized to suit your needs and preferences, and many frequently used functions are made accessible via the right mouse button or keyboard shortcuts. Thumbnails are used to simplify locating and accessing the images you desire. These thumbnails are built dynamically, so are always current. They are built quickly too, as IB2000 is a true 32bit multi-threaded application. Albums can be simply created for easy management. Albums can also be nested, allowing extreme flexibility. For example, a "Family" album might contain nested folders such as "Grandma" or "Tim and Jeans Wedding". An alternative location, such as a removable or network drive can be specified for the Album location. "Favourites" allows simple shortcuts to locations of your choice. These might be anything from a shared clipart folder on the network, to your internet download or cache folders, or even your digital camera's card reader.
Shows can be saved in advance or fired off from any group selection, and allow full-screen views of the images with a timed delay between images that can be modified in realtime on the keyboard
IB2000 is a boon to anyone with a digital camera, the Create Series feature allowing intelligent renaming and dating of files. This not only aids management, but avoids the pitfall of overwriting previously taken pictures from many cameras that use standard filenames. You can specify up to three alternative graphics packages in advance to use with the "Open With" feature, to quickly edit the selected image.
