A Crappy product form a Crappy Company
This is a Crappy product from a Crappy company! This device blew up when I plugged in in, blowing up my computers power supply and taking out half of my USB2 Ports along with it. Not only that, but when I was trying to install the software, I kept getting "Catastrophic Failure Error" faults. When I contacted the service department, these jokers wanted me to send it back to them at MY Expense!!! When I asked about compensation for the damage their device cause me, that was the last I heard from them. I see now that I'm going to have to take it to court to settle it properly. $500 is $500, and Somebody is darn well going to pay for it!
DO your self a big favor and go some place else where there is a reputable company instead of this "Fly-By-Night" outfit. You won't be sorry, like I am

VHS to DVD 2.0 Deluxe
I got the same copy write protection error... but I called them and they sent me a patch. Once you get past the error the product did exactly what I needed it to do. I successfully transfered my old home movies to DVD without any problems. My only recommendation is that they put the product key in a better place. It took me a while to find it on the backside of the CD case. Anyways very happy with the product and recommend it to anyone looking for a way to transfer their old VHS tapes to DVD

Not worth money
This is the worse video capture software i've ever seen. When capturing home video it keeps stopping saying the home video is copy protected leaving huge holes in your movie.Tools are difficult to use. mouseovers keeps flashing on and off. Encoding takes 6 to 8 times longer than the clip run time. The burning feature doesn't work at all. I had to use Nero to burn the clips to DVD. Save your money....
