CodeTwo Exchange Sync 2.0

CodeTwo Exchange Sync is a very convenient application to synchronize all Exchange Server folders. The tool is dedicated to Exchange Server users who are in search of a solution to synchronize e.g. public folders with personal mailboxes or handhelds. The configuration of the program is very easy. The friendly user interface helps go through the setup within minutes.

CodeTwo Exchange Sync enables a number of synchronization types. There is One-Way Synchronization in which data is synchronized in one direction only. Within this type three sync subcategories are available from one-to-one mode, in which data is synchronized between two folders only, to one-to many and many-to-one modes that allow multiple folders to act either as the target folders, to which data is directed, or as the source folders, from which the data is pulled.

Another type of synchronization is Two-Way. In this, the data replication goes in two directions and the number of folders that will participate in the synchronization starts with two (an exchange of data between two folders both ways), but it may be higher. When multiple folders are synchronized in Two-Way mode, the folder ring is created. The data contained in each folder is transmitted to all other folders in the ring and the goal is for each folder to contain exactly the same data

One way CodeTwo Exchange Sync can be used is the synchronization of public folders with handhelds (PDAs, BlackBerry). First the program syncs the data from public folders to personal folders. Once in personal folders, the items will be easily downloaded by the mobile device.

CodeTwo Exchange Sync can be installed on a computer with the Exchange server or on any other computer in the network that has connectivity to Exchange. If the Exchange server is not installed on the computer, the machine must at least be equipped with Microsoft Outlook 98/2000 in the Corporate or Workgroup mode.
